Get Involved: Our Children need summer opportunities
The city's finance crunch hits pools, recreation centers and countless
citizens of all ages. Imparative work to keep children safe with appropriate
recreation has begun. The city is broke and funds just are NOT available,
yet idle time must be discouraged. Help us build quality fun this season.
Show our children we care enough to become involved.
Our summer isn't spent! It is yet to start.
Join in the discussions
A series of meetings are reaching communities of the city to voice opinions
and protect our children this summer. Help to supply good, supervised
recreation. You involvement gives impact and early involvement, now,
increases everyone's reach for success this summer.
Many care enough to spend some time contriubting valued energy for our city
and our neighbors. Various short-term solutions must be patched together for
ourselves, by ourselves, among those who care enough.
Bigger, longer problems are being highlighted too. Our expectations must be
shared and know. Let summer begin! Join us and help turn up the heat.
